After the crazy end to 2016, we thought things might calm down a bit as we started into 2017. But, the whirlwind of enquiries picked up again and by the end of January we were heading back out to Dubai, Doha and Muscat for event meetings, having already filled all our summer dates here in the UK.
We took time to explore the shows on board a Thomson cruise in the Arabian sea and had some wonderful lunches with new friends and colleagues in the Middle East, leading to some amazing show opportunities.
As we trundled into February and March, we had some wonderful corporate shows around the UK, and confirmation of two trips came in for the spring, with another adventure in Oman as we took an amazing Aladdin cast to Al Mouj Muscat in March, and we were all excited to once again be traveling back to Bahrain for the brilliant Formula One Grand Prix event on Easter Sunday.
Easter itself in the UK was also very busy and our two fantastic performance teams dealt with everything that was thrown at them.
Focus turned to the UK once again in May, with lots of fun Holiday Park shows and a couple of very interesting corporate events, including two fabulous Broadway Shows, one at the lovely Whittlebury Hall and a beautiful event in the stunning grounds of Her Majesty the Queens residence of Sandringham Castle in Norfolk.
June has now pounced upon us , taking us to the half way point in the calendar year, and our attention turns to the Autumn and Winter work for this year.
We have secured a longer run of Pantomime in the wonderful McMillan Theatre in Bridgwater, and we are very much looking forward to bringing the The Wonderful Wizard of Oz to the people of Somerset this Christmas. We have also just signed another contract to return to Muscat in Oman in November for an international golfing event, and we also have a few other Arabian gems waiting to be signed off which will make for another exciting winter of adventures.
With the Summer holidays on the horizon, its heads down for us as a company now with many different themed shows to be performed in the coming months.
2018 is looking bright too, with all our Monday to Friday dates already booked out for all the school holiday dates..
Now all we need is a good bit of sunshine to put smiles on faces.
