James & Murphy Productions were established in 2005 by husband and wife team Charlene James & Paul Murphy.

They both have a wealth of experience within the industry, fronting top show bands, touring with various musical theatre stage shows and spending many years in entertainment and events management.

 

They established ‘James & Murphy Productions’ by producing family fun stage shows for holiday centres and theme parks in the Southwest of England and later moved into providing productions for theatres and high-end corporate events.

Since then, the company has gone from strength the strength and they have produced and performed their family stage shows at some of the most prestigious events worldwide; including the Bahrain Formula One and The World Endurance Motor Car Championships, The Oman Open golf tour in Muscat, The Dubai Shopping Festival and CBBC TV to name a few.

They have performed in front of Indian royalty for an event in New Delhi, India and have performed at various award ceremonies, product launches and private events around the world.

Recently they have been touring the country with their hit theatre shows ‘Broadway Spectacular’ and

‘The Greatest Movies Show’ to great acclaim!

 

In 2013 they produced their first pantomime touring various venues around the UK, and in 2015 their tour included a two-day run at the then brand-new McMillan Theatre, Bridgwater. Since then, due to its enormous popularity they decided to make the transition from touring panto to static panto and joined forces with the McMillan Theatre itself to write and produce their annual pantomime each year.

Nine years on they are proud to be presenting their biggest pantomime yet ‘BEAUTY & THE BEAST' which promises to be an Magical & Enchanting pantomime filled with hilarious comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes, incredible choreography and a touch of Panto magic!
